Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Receiving Android 11 Based New One UI 3.0 Update

It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S20 SE will get the tweaked UI design update and the December 2020 Android Security patch as well soon.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G by Samsung started getting the December 2020 android security patch update and the new One UI 3.0(custom UI of Samsung like MIUI of Xiaomi) update which is based on Android 11. The report has not stated the features and other things about the One UI 3.0, but it suggests that Samsung is likely to bring a new tweaked UI design with the security update by android in December month.

The favorite thing about Samsung smartphones I personally love is the regular security and Android updates as well. In recent years Samsung has improved its quality and service as well. We have seen that the Samsung phones were very laggy 2 or 3 years back but now they have done much improvement in their software. The hardware was good before but it is now more powerful and good especially since the cameras of Samsung smartphones are beasts for mobile photographers.

Last week, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G version got the update in Russia according to the reports. In India, Samsung launched its S20 FE 5G variant also.

According to a report by SamMobile, the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G will carry a firmware version G781BXXUIBTL4. The roadmap announced for the country Egypt by Samsung didn’t specifically mention that the Galaxy S2 FE(4G and 5G) will get the updates but other handsets in the Galaxy S20 series will get the update and the update is on the schedule currently.

The updates may be rolled out in January 2021 or in the month of February.

The report by SamMobile didn’t mention the official names of the countries where the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphones are getting the updates. However, it will be right to say that the 5G variant should be getting the same changes as the 4G model.

These changes may include a dedicated playback widget, repositioned volume rockers/ controls, and a tweaked One UI.

The update may improve the apps like calendar, contacts, messages, phone, reminders, Samsung internet(Samsung browser), and Samsung keyboard as well.

Let’s see what we get the final features in the One UI 3.0 update.
