The all-new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be launched soon in the global as well as in the Indian market also.
Since 2019 the "Ultra" branding has been reserved for the premium level flagship smartphones by Samsung. The first ultra series smartphone was S20 Ultra which was an awesome premium smartphone by Samsung.
Basically, Samsung has launched its Ultra series to compete with the apple flagships. Then the Galaxy S20 ultra was carried forward and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was launched.
In 2021 Samsung will launch their 3 new smartphones which will be Galaxy S21 with three variants one will be a Premium segment and most probably it will be Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The new Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will round out the Samsung flagship series for the upcoming year 2021. But the pricing is going to be a little expensive for sure.
Design
Samsung will make the Galaxy S21 ultra with a big screen and wider than any of their existing screens and models lineup. The display is going to be 2.5 D curved glass and will have gorilla glass 5 protection for sure. The S21 ultra will be packed with a glass back panel.
The phone will be packed with premium materials and will be IP68 certified water and dust resistant.
Specifications
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will most likely have the Samsung Exynos series 2100 SoC processor for the Indian market and for the global market there are chances that they will give the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor for the Europian and US markets.
Storage Variants
12GB/16GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage variants will be offered. The phone will support 25-watt fast charging but may not come with the adaptor and earphones in the European market due to the carbon emission norms there. Some reports said that Samsung is developing a 30 Watt charger for the entire lineup.
Display of Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 6.8 inches Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity O Display we can expect the same display in the S21 Ultra. A leak from various sources said that the S21 Ultra will be lass with a 6.8-inch panel with a 1HZ to 120 Hz(adaptive) refresh rate.
Camera
The camera setup is going to be exactly the same as we have seen in the S20 Ultra with minor tweaks in the camera module. Samsung will use their new camera sensor which is the exact same sensor Mi note 11 is using which is launched yesterday in China on 29th od December 2020.
Most probably the camera setup is going to be less with a 108 MP primary sensor and a 12 MP of ultra-wide sensor. The device will also have a 10 MP telephoto lens with a zoom option of 3x to 10x. Laser autofocus will be also there.
Software and New Features
There is no doubt that the phone will come up with the all-new Android 11 and Samsung One UI 3.1 custom UI of Samsung. There will be lots of amazing and useful features in the new software for this premium-level smartphone.
Release Date and Pricing
Samsung has scheduled the announcement of the Galaxy S21 for early January 2021 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be priced at 1399 Euro in the Europian market for the 128 GB variant with 5G enabled mode.
