According to some reports, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is getting the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 Update and December 2020 Android Security Patch Update

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip the first Foldable display phone by Samsung become the latest smartphone by Samsung to get the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update with the December 2020 android security patch update. The update is packed with several new and latest features such as the all-new redesigned UI elements, enhanced quick panel, improved dynamic lock screen as well as updated apps of Samsung.

The update is rolled out in Europe and Nigeria as reported by the users of Europe and Nigeria. Samsung smartphones like Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy S20 models have already got the update in many countries.

A report by GSM Arena the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will carry a firmware version F700FxXx3CTLx and the size of the update is 2,014 MB. 

If you own a Galaxy Z flip and still haven't received the update, please check manually in the setting of your phone under the software update section and click on check for updates and download.

The update will bring two packages Android 11 and One UI 3.0 together android security patch of December 2020.

Samsung officially said that some applications will need to be updated by users separately via Samsung store or play store after updating the whole software. 

The latest update also ditches Wi-fi direct for file sharing and the company says that the users can now use a new feature called Nearby sharing that serves the same purpose.
